Sovereign Tower FAQ

All Questions

Is it Sovereign Tower or Soverign Tower?

Sovereign Tower — with the e before the i. "Soverign tower" is one of the fastest-rising searches for the game, so if you have been finding thin results, the spelling is likely why. Worth knowing too: Sovereign Tower is also the name of real buildings in London and in India, which is what most of the property listings in your results are.

How many knights are there in Sovereign Tower?

24 recruitable knights, confirmed two ways: the in-game meal table lists 24 by name, and a full recruit walkthrough covers the same 24. Four of them turn up on their own — Angelica, Goberto, Gwendan and Gideon. The rest need a specific decision, and some are mutually exclusive.

How do you dismiss or remove a knight in Sovereign Tower?

Dismissal happens through the Round Table itself, and it is not always available — players regularly report the option being unavailable. The usual reason is that the knight is currently away on a quest or part-way through a personal quest line. Wait for them to return before trying again. Be careful with it: a dismissed knight takes their quest line with them, and Gwendan is the only documented case who comes back after being sent away.

Does Sovereign Tower have romance?

Yes — ten characters can be romanced, six knights and four of your household staff. Completing one unlocks the Love Is All achievement. The full list is on the romance page.

What happens if you romance too many characters?

Nothing stops you mechanically, and the game is written with the possibility in mind. Each romance rewrites that character's farewell slide, so the consequence lands in the epilogue rather than mid-run. Flirting on its own does not commit you — the intimate and openly romantic dialogue options are the ones that count.

How many endings does Sovereign Tower have?

Five main endings — War, Peace Treaty, Marry, Surrender and Tower Destruction — plus variants within several of them, character send-off slides, and a separate demon epilogue keyed to how often you rewound. All five are chosen inside one conversation at the Emperor's ultimatum, and which ones you are offered depends on your highest sovereign style.

How many acts and cycles are there?

Three acts. Cycles are the turn counter, and the interface shows a target cycle for your run — an official screenshot shows a targeted cycle of 40 on a save at cycle 32, while a published guide places the Emperor's ultimatum at cycle 45. Those two numbers are not reconciled, so plan your endgame by the counter on your own screen rather than by a number from a guide.

What does using the demon actually do?

It rewinds time, which is how you turn a failed run into information — you keep what you learned about a quest you have already seen. Each rewind adds one point of corruption. Corruption is not shown as a bar, but it is read back at the end: zero rewinds and the demon epilogue does not play at all, one to nineteen gets the lighter version, twenty or more adds a second and darker one.

How do you stop the murder in Act 2?

This is the most-searched problem in the game and it has more than one route. The one most consistently described: let the first murder happen, refuse the Crypt Demon's immediate rewind when it is offered, and then send the murderer himself to investigate it. Dismissing Gwendan before the murder is the other documented approach. Both are reported by players rather than confirmed by the developer, so treat them as routes that worked rather than as the only ones.

What happens if you kill Victoria?

It frees Gothild to join your table — the Enberg murder trial hands you one of the two, not both. It also costs you a shortcut: with Victoria still on your roster at the end, the Peace Treaty ending resolves inside the conversation with no final quest at all. Without her you have to win an eight-knight stat check first.

What happens when a knight leaves the Round Table?

Their personal quest line goes with them, and they lose their place in the ending — only knights seated at the table when the run ends get a farewell slide. Knights leave when affinity falls far enough, which is why a preferred meal each round is worth more than it looks.

Does the Sovereign Tower demo save carry into the full game?

Unconfirmed as of 1 September 2026. It is one of the most-asked questions about the game and this site could not find an official statement either way, so no answer is given here rather than a guess. If you played the demo, assume you are starting fresh.

How long does Sovereign Tower take to beat?

No official figure has been published, and this site does not test games, so no hour count is claimed. What is on record: three acts, a cycle counter that runs to roughly 40–45, and the player who documented the recruit routes did so at 30 hours in — with several routes still unfinished. Seeing all five endings takes multiple runs; the creator who recorded them all needed three playthroughs.

How do you access the artbook?

The artbook is a separate paid item on Steam rather than something unlocked inside the game — it is sold as its own store listing, alongside a soundtrack. If you bought a bundle that included it, it installs as a separate Steam item and opens from your library, not from the game's menu.

Is Sovereign Tower on PS5, Switch or Xbox?

No. As of 1 September 2026 it is PC only, on Steam, for Windows and Linux. No console or Mac version has been announced. Full platform status is on the platforms page.

Where is the Sovereign Tower community?

The Steam discussion boards are where the most detailed recruit and ending information has been assembled, and the developer has been shipping patches alongside them since launch. There is also a subreddit for the game, and the Steam Community guides section carries translation packs and achievement walkthroughs. The link to the official store page is in the footer.

Who made Sovereign Tower?

Wild Wits Games developed it; Curve Games published it. It launched on 6 August 2026 at $19.99 with a Metacritic score of 85, and has held 93% positive across 2,953 Steam reviews. The studio shipped four patches in the first three weeks.
